DRAWING A LINE IN THE SAND

When one makes a line in the sand, they're showing their red lines. It's a clear message that says "This is where I hold". Crossing that line means infringing on those defined terms, and often leads to fallout. Often lines in the sand are drawn metaphorically, representing a philosophical stance. Many times, they are tangibly drawn, underscoring
